About the Author and Illustrator
Author: Lis McLoughlin, PhD is founder and director of NatureCulture® and the Writing the Land® project which helps conserve nature. She publishes the Writing the Land® anthologies and other books, and produces international in-person retreats. She is a land holder on the island of Cayman Brac.
Illustrator: C.F. Morales is a cartoonist, illustrator and writer. He has degrees in CGI, Animation and digital design. He enjoys writing fictional stories and creating characters that would fit in cartoons that he’s watched growing up. Now he’s creating and illustrating stories for everyone to read. He is currently working on his comic book titled Obadiah set to release in December of 2025.

C.F. Morales es dibujante, ilustrador y escritor. Le gusta escribir historias de ficción y crear personajes. Ahora está creando e ilustrando historias para que todos las lean. Ahora está trabajando en su cómic titulado Obadiah, que se lanzará en diciembre de 2025.
Dana Maya es una escritora, educadora, y poeta de raíces Mexicanas. Colabora con otros poetas y artistas en proyectos de cambio social. Su trabajo aparece en antologías, revistas, museos, tierras protegidas, y otros espacios públicos.
